Stage 5 of the 2008 Tour de Georgia passed by Olde Field Chase today. Chuck and I were able to see the cyclists riding by on Kelly Mill Road.
The longest stage of the Tour began in Suwanee this morning and will end in Dahlonega, after passing through ten counties today. Today’s route will cover more than 133 miles (approx 214.7 km) and is expected to finish between 2:40-4:00 pm this afternoon.
The photos Chuck took today are a part of the Georgia Power Sprint in Cumming.
Stage 6 will begin in Blairsville and is the most difficult as cyclists must climb 88.4 miles through the Appalachian Mountains (including Hogpen Gap and Unicoi Gap) to finish at Brasstown Bald Mountain. It is located in Union County and is the highest spot in Georgia. Over 25,000 spectators are expected to watch the final 3.12 miles of the race.

Gabe and Lisa Henderson are off to a busy start in 2008. Not only are they expecting their first child (it’s going to be a girl and they have already named her Savannah), but these Forsyth County natives are also launching two new ventures under the name, A Heavenly Creation.
If you are thinking about any type of home repair or improvement, contact
Gabe at: 770-395-9736 or
e-mail him: gabe @aheavenlycreation.net
He’s familiar with every aspect of the construction business from grading to final inspections and you’ll find that he is very detail oriented!
And our mom-to-be Lisa is running the custom embroidery business.
This creative duo creates lovely items for the home as well as apparel for every occasion.
So if you need embroidered towels for those upcoming wedding showers, delicate pillowcases or perhaps personalized shirts or hats for your little league team, visit Lisa at their new website: www.aheavenlycreation.net

I just love this listing in Sugar Hill. It is spotless and the lady of the house has a real talent for decorating.
As it turns out, the owners, Mr and Mrs. Morris, were referred to me….what a small world; we go to the same LA Fitness at the same time everyday and have never met.
I used T & T photos for this virtual tour and they have great customer service. See the link below to tour this home.

I received this letter in an e-mail yesterday and as you will read below, Jason has asked that we forward this to all of our friends, family, and business associates. He builds great homes. Jason has listed his company’s website is in this letter if you or someone that you know is interested in purchasing or would like more information.
Thanks for passing this along to others in the market for a new home!

To: All subcontractors, suppliers, vendors and associates,
The recent housing decline is affecting all of us. Many of you that I have spoken with tell me your business is off by as much as 40 to 60 percent. Some experts believe we may start to see some relief starting next year. Lets hope they are right. The extension of this is that now is a very good time to buy a new home. Prices are probably as low as they will likely ever be. Even if the current decline continues beyond what’s expected I doubt prices will slip much further than they are now.
Knowing that referrals can sometimes be the best form of advertising I wanted to propose to you that we are willing to liquidate any of our current standing, completed inventory at, or in some cases below cost on 30 day closings.
If we can move some of our inventory this will allow us some new starts, which will be good for everyone. As most of you know we have four neighborhoods in prime locations in Gwinnett County with prices starting in the lowest 200’s. As an extension of this we are offering lease purchases with a modest security deposit/down payment also at reduced pricing. Please visit our website for additional information and directions at www.jasondgillishomes.com
If you have received this letter via fax we ask that you copy and distribute it to all of your employees, suppliers, vendors, subcontractors, friends and family. If you receive it via e-mail please forward it to everyone in your address book.
Many thanks and best wishes for continued prosperity to everyone.
Jason
